At the summer ASU orientation, you indicated you would like to receive a monthly update that details important information regarding your student’s ASU academic experience.  Thank you for your interest in receiving this parent communication. 
 
The start of the fall semester is right around the corner.  Here are some tasks your student should be addressing in early August:

The working group in Political Psychology consists of scholars that apply contemporary psychological theories, concepts, and methods to the study of political behavior. Focal points of research within the group consist of the application of social psychology (e.g., the subfields of attitudes, emotions, group identities) and cognitive psychology (e.g., memory and cognition, decision-making processes) to understanding the formation of people’s political preferences, voter behavior during electoral campaigns, and the implementation of public policy by elected officials.

The School of Politics and Global Studies also conducts an Experiential Lab and Workshop.  The Experimental Lab, located on the 6th floor of Coor Hall, is meant to facilitate the research of faculty and students in a variety of areas.  The Workshop is run by faculty and is an Internal Speaker Series meant to help graduate students.
